Jay Nankivell, General Manager at Broken Hill City Council will be speaking at our third session of the 'Grab a coffee with...' series. Jay is a young General Manager, and it will be interesting to discuss with him his career, along with the opportunities, choices and challenges he has faced, and reflect on what we can learn from his experience.
There will be an opportunity to chat and network with other Next Gen members for the last 10 minutes of the session.
The session will be facilitated by Alana Villata, Corporate Accountant & Grants Coordinator at Griffith City Council, who is an Executive committee member of the Next Gen Member Network.

Jay Nankivell was appointed General Manager of Broken Hill City Council on March 31, 2021 after serving as Acting General Manager.
Mr Nankivell is a fully qualified CPA, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds a Bachelor of Business and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning.
He has served as Broken Hill Council’s Chief Financial Officer and Manager of Finance, Alexandrina Council’s Accounting Support Officer and also worked in the New South Wales government in senior business and finance roles.
