Ben is the Chief Executive Officer of Wollondilly Shire Council, appointed in September 2019.  He is an experienced executive leader with a proven track record in Local and State Government, with previous roles including General Manager Environment & Infrastructure at Northern Beaches Council, Deputy General Manager at Pittwater Council, CEO at SHOROC and Director Metropolitan Water for the NSW Office of Water. 

Ben is a qualified marine biologist and environmental scientist and has undertaken the Diploma of Government with Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors program. He brings with him a passion for excellence in customer service and inspiring and empowering staff to deliver high performance for the community.
