With the upcoming elections approaching, it is crucial for Governance Professionals to provide support and engagement to the elected members, both in the pre-election phase and in establishing an enriching onboarding experience. Join us at the Governance Member Network Forum scheduled for Thursday, 23 November, where we will delve into enhancing current procedures and aiding potential elected members throughout the election process.

We will delve into what pre-candidate information should be shared with individuals running for election, as well as with confirmed candidates. We'll emphasize the essential awareness needed while campaigning and strategize proactive measures to share key information, thereby mitigating potential challenging discussions in the future. Additionally, we'll explore effective methods to sustain engagement with elected members during the induction and onboarding phase. This includes comprehensive coverage of policies, rules, and regulations while fostering active involvement and cultivating positive, collaborative relationships with council professionals.

Note - There are approx. 20 parking spaces available under Building A (closed carpark the council shares with West Tigers - where the rooms are located), free on street parking and free 3hr parking under Building B (open carpark under the gym.) In addition to these we are trying to get more spaces under Building A for the day which will assist.
