An Award Winning Community Partnership Project

The 'Love Your Home Ground' litter prevention project was collaboratively developed by the Inner West Council and local sports/recreation groups to reduce littler at sport home grounds. Thanks to partnerships between Marrickville Football Club, Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC), River Canoe Club of NSW and the Inner West Council, the project successfully reduced littler by 95%

The project won a 2023 Local Government Professionals award in the category of Community Partnerships - Population Over 150,000. Emily Moore, Resource Recovery Officer at Inner West Council, will give insight into the project at this Webinar Wednesday.
