About the Council Comparative Analysis Tool

A range of metrics from councils' data is available via the Council Cmparative Analysis Tool (CCAT).

The CCAT gives councils the ability to sub-segment results at a deeper level so they are able to benchmark across clusters of councils with a similar size or characteristics.

The CCAT is available through a secure online portal and multiple users can access the data at the same time. The tool is very user friendly and training is available for all users.

Councils are able to access the CCAT for the full year of the program, allowing continued analysis of data across different areas of council, with downloadable graphs and charts useful for reporting purposes and sharing information in both internal and external communications. The CCAT data is updated when councils submit data in subsequent years.

CCAT data is completely confidential and no council names are displayed.
