In the below Terms and Conditions, LG Professionals, NSW refers to Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW.
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant event or training page, a full refund will be provided where written notification (by email) is received by LG Professionals, NSW at least 21 days prior to the event or training’s start date. No refunds will be available for cancellations within 21 days prior to the event or training’s start date. A minimum number is required to confirm the training, please check with us prior to making travel arrangements.
The membership portion of any event registration via a Membership Package cannot be cancelled/transferred/refunded regardless of how much notice is given.
# Be advised that for the LG Awards Dinner a full refund will be provided where written notification (by email) is received by Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW at least 28 days prior to the event. No refunds will be available for cancellations within 28 days prior to the event. Staff substitutions are welcome.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR WEBINARS
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant webinar page, a full refund will be provided where written notification (by email) is received by Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW at least 7 days prior to the webinar. No refund will be available for webinar cancellations within 7 days prior to the webinar.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR INTENSIVE ONE WEEK RESIDENTIAL COURSES
This course is run on a cost recovery basis. No refund will be available for cancellations or non-attendance. If for any reason a registrant is unable to attend, please arrange for another council colleague to take their place.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Delegates attending our events, training, program or webinar agree to act professionally with respect to all fellow delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and LG Professionals, NSW staff as per the Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW Code of Conduct.
Registration for LG Professionals, NSW’s events, training, program and webinar is open to LG Professionals, NSW members, council employee, elected member and invited guest unless otherwise stated on the specific event, training, program or webinar webpage. LG Professionals, NSW reserves the right to cancel any registration by anyone who does not meet this criteria. Where LG Professionals, NSW cancels a registration, a refund will be provided, and the individual notified by email.
By registering for our events, training, program or webinar you authorise LG Professionals, NSW to take photographs and record the presentation/session (which includes any questions or comments by any participant or audience member) in audio or visual format or both. You agree that LG Professionals, NSW is the owner of the copyright and other intellectual property in the photographs or recording and that they may be used for any purpose it considers appropriate, including publicity, education and/or other activities and may earn income for LG Professionals, NSW’s own benefit.
The membership start date for any person registering for a program (i.e. an Intensive), where the registration fee includes membership, commences Day 1 of the registered program. Membership benefits will not be accessible until membership commences.
For Events, Training or Programs registrations close 7 days prior to the commencement date unless sold out. For Webinars registrations close the business day prior to the commencement date unless sold out.
By registering for our events, training, program or webinar you agree to LG Professionals, NSW handling and disclosing personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
