Lisa is General Manager at Wingecarribee Shire Council and brings extensive experience across local government. She previously served as General Manager at Hunter’s Hill Council and has held senior executive roles at Campbelltown, Camden, Canada Bay and Marrickville Councils. Lisa began her career in local government at Sutherland Shire Council as a teacher in a long day care centre, giving her an early, practical grounding in community services.

Lisa holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Education and is a recipient of the NSW Minister’s Award for Women in Local Government.

Throughout her career, Lisa has led significant organisational transformation, delivering positive and sustainable change for councils and the communities they serve. Since joining Wingecarribee Shire Council, her focus has been on rebuilding and reinvigorating the organisation following a Public Inquiry and period of Administration, positioning it to emerge stronger, more capable and focused on community outcomes.

Lisa will share her experience working in environments of significant change and leading an organisation and Council through a Public Inquiry and Administration — and out the other side. She looks forward to sharing practical insights and lessons learned with peers who are navigating complexity, reform and renewal in their own organisations.
