The key purpose of the Next Gen Member Network is to establish a group of emerging leaders in local government, who are passionate about the sector and dedicated to their careers.
The Member Network is open to all professionals in the early stages of their council career. Our network will help you to enhance and promote your career and personal development opportunities. The focus is to ensure that local government involves and engages the talent of future leaders.
The Member Network aims to:
- Influence and enhance professional development opportunities and learning;
- Provide networking and knowledge sharing opportunities that are creative and interactive;
- Provide a forum for younger local government professionals to discuss, debate and progress issues or points of interest or pertinence; and
- Provide input into the development of professional development programmes run by LG Professionals, NSW
