Role and Scholarship Application

I applied for the Customer Experience Scholarship to enhance customer interactions and create meaningful experiences. This scholarship provided a unique opportunity to deepen my knowledge and skills, enabling me to contribute more effectively to my community and staff members. I was excited to learn from industry leaders and am now applying this knowledge to make it easier to do business with Berrigan Shire Council.

Professional Development

The customer experience conference scholarship was crucial for my professional development. Attending the conference allowed me to learn from industry leaders, participate in workshops, and network with other professionals passionate about customer experience. The insights gained from keynotes and sessions directly improved my knowledge and skills, providing me with practical tools to implement in my work. Overall, it was a transformative experience that boosted my confidence and career prospects in the field.

Conference Insights

Each session was insightful, and diving into the world of AI was particularly interesting. I found it compelling how directors and managers spoke about uplifting their staff to provide exceptional customer service. Phrases like "Empower the front line" and "Frustrated employees don’t deliver" resonated with me.

Key Takeaways

I particularly enjoyed listening to Jeffrey Griffith from Devonport City Council. His insights on AI and automated processes were both engaging and thought-provoking. He shared real-world examples that illustrated the impact of effective customer experience strategies. His storytelling approach made complex concepts relatable and easier to understand. His passion for the field inspired me, and I walked away with actionable takeaways that I can apply at Berrigan Shire Council.
